Dear Ron and Board:
Thank you for recognizing me with the Christ-like Character Coaches Award. I'm sorry I was unable to be present at the Coach Appreciation Dinner to receive the award in person.
My family and I were excited when we heard you voice mail. I feel honored to have been selected. The real reward for me is working with the kids. CYAA presents a rare opportunity to teach godly life skills and athletic skills in a fun way. Nothing can compare to a team discussion about a life lesson and the immediate application of that on the field or court.
Thank You for your creation and ongoing operation of CYAA. It is a blessing for kids, coaches, and parents alike. Your efforts as a Board to lead this organization do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. I'm sure Jesus has a big grin on his face every time a team huddle breaks with a loud "Jesus" or a child yells "great pass" to an opponent.
